Polish Highlanders Restaurant, Bar, and Banquet Halls is an enchanting destination tucked away at 4808 S Archer Ave in Chicago. This establishment impresses with its blend of authentic Polish cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. Diners often rave about the generous portions and gourmet quality of dishes, such as hearty chicken soup, savory breaded chicken, and delectable traditional sides like beets and sauerkraut. Randall Jamrok’s experience highlights the vibrant vegetable selections and stunning presentation, confirming the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence.
Moreover, the ambiance captivates, resembling a rustic lodge in the Carpathian Mountains, as noted by customer Kay Deekay. The restaurant is also praised for its spacious banquet halls, ideal for weddings and parties. Glo M emphasized their accommodating nature, showing a willingness to embrace diverse traditions during events.
Lastly, don’t miss the house-made limoncello-like drink—it's a must-try! Overall, Polish Highlanders Restaurant embodies not just a meal but a charming slice of Polish culture, making it a must-visit for both locals and travelers seeking an authentic dining experience.

Very enjoyable Polish food. I enjoyed the large amount of vegetables including a wonderful carrot salad. Food was gourmet quality and the presentation was beautiful. There is a large variety of traditional Polish dishes. Workers were hard-working and friendly. The dining room has a relaxing atmosphere.

I hesitate to write this review because this place feels like such a hidden gem in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago that I don't want to start waiting for a table, but they are so great it would be a crime not to tell people about them: It is simply a Polish restaurant that serves big beers and delicious plates of food! Take a date here, take your parents here, book an event here, or just come by yourself and try the food - you will NOT be disappointed! Some nights after the kitchen has closed down and the one-time visitors have left to return to their home closer to downtown, it truly feels like a lovely bar somewhere on the outskirts of Warsaw while you are inside the dark-wood bar walls listening to the polka music and experiencing the cold, delicious European draft beers. Dzieki! PS - they have a house-made drink similar to a limoncello that you should ABSOLUTELY split a bottle of with a friend (or a few!) Just don't take my favorite table!

Love love love this place for a wedding or any large event! We had a quinceanera and they were so accommodating and helpful!!!! They were there to help during the party before the party and after the party!!!! Amazing! They appreciate traditions, we shared with them what some of our Mexican traditions were for this event and they shared what they use their hall for within the Polish community!

This was my first experience there for a party. The atmosphere was so different. Polish carved chairs, polish carving on walls. My Friend said just like restaurants in Poland. Food was very good. I am definitely going back for more authentic Polish food. For the party we ate chicken soup, beets, cucumbers sour cream, breaded chicken breast, sauerkraut and something called devo eye it is stuffed with mushrooms. I am definitely going back

They were having several big parties so we had to wait about 45 min for food but it was delicious when it finally got there! Atmosphere is great - you feel like you in a lodge in Carpathian mountains!

Amazing! My maternal great grandmother came from the Polish highlands so this was a special visit for my mom. Food was fantastic. The mushroom soup was amazing. We actually took two large containers home.

Wonderful restaurant and bar. They serve authentic Polish dishes. The atmosphere makes you feel like you have been transported to Poland. The servers wear authentic Polish clothing and speak Polish as well. The service was fast and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the European plate- grilled kielbasa, perogies topped with bacon, saurkraut, and potato pancake. They offer chicken tenders and fries for kids. They have a lovely libations list. If you are looking for a genuine Polish dish... this is the place.
